Teaching music lessons is a multi-dimensional pursuit – and I do mean pursuit! I pursue this information because I am passionate about making a difference in the world. I read and digest new information nearly every day to make me a better music instructor and voice teacher.
Every day presents a new vista in terms of knowledge. Making music encompasses and expands the capacities of the brain in so many ways. Consider that musicians are doing math, coordinating the two halves of their bodies, creating art, and engaging audiences all at the same time! Science uncovers new ways of understanding the human mind and how it learns all the time. The miracles of modern technology unveil aspects of the human voice that escape the eye and ear, and you never know how presenting information in a new way can resonate and change a person’s understanding.
